Qualifications: Supervisors and Management Certification is for persons who want to become a certified leader in a Central Sterile Processing Department. You must be or have been employed in the healthcare industry and have served in one or more such positions or have an interest therein:
- A person who (a) supervises (has supervised) two or more individuals;
- has (had) job duties that are (were) at least 60 percent supervisory in nature
- or participated in such tasks as scheduling, training, interviewing, disciplining, inspecting, and conducting performance reviews;
- making decisions and judgment calls while performing daily duties and with input on hiring and firing decisions within a department or
- b) serves (has served) in a human resources or other staff position involving training or another area of support may apply.

Other Requirements: 1. Student must purchase IAHCSMM CHL manual and workbook from IAHCSMM.
2. Student must apply for certification exam and submit exam fee to IAHCSMM before taking “real” certification exam.
3. Student must have current CRCST certification.

Prepares CS professional, with an existing CRCST certification. This is for management and supervisors with existing responsibilities. The next step that IAHCSMM certification provides. You will be able to view video lectures for each chapter, take all exams on line as well as meet with an instructor live each week via internet. All documentation and testing provided in course. Certificate of Completion Provided

Each chapter and weekly assignment from syllabus provided will include:
